Breed of white chicken?

I had one cornish hen once i got in a mixed box of hatchery chioce. I named her Mertle as she was as slow as a turtle.
She indeed did lay me an egg or 2 a week. She had her own straw sleeping box on the floor. Mertle was such a sweet friendly bird. She would take 3 or 4 steps and settle down to eat grass.she could never keep up with the others as they foraged. I most times would have to searching for her at evening and pick her up and place her in her crate for the night. Not long lived and definatly could not escape a preditor. Which is what happened to her.

Thanks for all the info! Poor things. I have 5 Roos for the dinner table; guess I’ll add these 2 to the list. #badluckatRuralKing

On the positive side, I wanted more anyway. Lol! This is dangerously addictive...
Just don't decide to get an incubator, that addiction is even worse lol

Hahhhaaa!!!! Seriously, what am I going to do with all these chickens? I now have 11 hens (all freeloaders; some of the 5 Roos are crowing and the girls refuse to lay eggs), and I am already picking out new breeds in my head. Perhaps a hatchery this time though...
