This is my neighbors chicken/roo
He is a few months old.
We each got chicks from a small breeder
She said it was a welsummer, however we are not really sure this guy has done feathers on his legs

Any ideas
She also bred silkies and polish not sure what else

Probably a mixed breed, possibly with Marans in him.

Def not Welsummer, unless it's mixed with others. With yellow legs - maybe barred Rock or barred Cochin mix? Not an expert by ANY means. Curious what others think - and is that some red/gold I see? It will be interesting to see him when he's fully mature!

Crossbred for sure. I agree with @Aunt Angus, he's likely got Cochin in him.
