Breed? TSC chicks, thought they were EE, but not sure now, lots of pix

This girl clearly has dark brown legs.

I have a Barred Rock from TSC that kinda has muddy greyish yellow legs, so I suspect some mixed heritage in him, but this girl has NO hint of yellow.

She has lost her puffy face though, doesn't look very much like an EE anymore. I guess we can wait and see what color eggs she lays, coz she's definitely going into the laying flock. Such a cutie, and her eggs will be yummy no matter what breed she is.

Well the male of this breed has made my blacklist. LOL

I have a tractor pen with 8 cockerels, yes 8 out of 11 total!!! And tonight after dark I rounded them up to move to another pen. They haven't been handled a whole whole lot, but they know me well-enough. All of the other chickens were disgruntled at the distrurbance, but not aggressive. The Partrage Rock cockerel hauled off and bit me --- bit me and hung on tight!!!!!!!! Fortunately he's small enough that it didn't really hurt any worse than a pinch, but it's only a matter of time till he gets bigger and badder.
I'll put up with quite a bit out of my roosters, especially if I'm just brooding my time till butchering day, but biting is one thing that'll get you the axe faster than anything else! Too bad he's the smallest of the bunch......(the TSC chicks are younger than the others by about 2 weeks)
