Breed wish list?

@SueT, how ironic! I really miss her, she was a great chicken. I had the chance to buy some Appenzeller Sptizhaubens a couple of years ago, but passed it up. Isn't it funny how we start off with a few chickens and end up with so many different breeds later on?

@BlueBaby, they are quite expensive- but it would be well worth it (if they were cheaper!) to try them out! :)

@Wolfefarmyard, I love Ayam Cemani's, but they can be very temperamental. Orpingtons are one of my favorite breeds.

@CapricornFarm, aren't Jubilee Orpingtons beautiful? I also think Chocolate Easter Eggers are very cute :love

@Jules929, That would make a beautiful flock! I wanted to buy some Salmon Faverolle's last year but I knew with my flock they'd never make it :p

I end up making a coop for each breed. Hubby won't tolerate any more.

I agree for the most part but there's something to be said about the colorful sheen on some black feathers when the light hits it. You see purple and green and it's very pretty.
I was about say just that! They look like an oil slick, kind of shimmery. Plus the shock factor for people who've never seen them before.
