I hatched this girl a few months ago from some eggs I picked up locally. Large brown eggs.
    Can anyone tell her breed?
As a chick she looked like a penguin that is what we named her.
Now her feathers are all black and shine a beautiful green in the light. she has black legs. her comb and wattles are now starting to turn red.
She has a little tuft of feathers on the top of her head.

Looks like a mix-Australorp mixed with something crested, would be my guess.

I figured she is mixed but was wondering what breeds she could be. She is a very nice girl and has super soft feathers. We just love her!
