Any idea on what kind of chicks I have? When I got them I was told they were production blues. They were in the same bin as the "stipped americuanas" (aka ester eggers). Well, I've been trying to do some research on production blues and everything I've come across says they are yellow chicks with blue patches. Mine are and have been fully blue. The closest i can find to them re blue amercuanas but i would be very shocked if i got 5 true Americuanas for $20. So, any idea?

The one in the list pic is the only one who hs brown. I have one other with. Black face and blue body then 3 others that are all blue. 20200315_221937.jpg

I'm thinking they came from a feed store, given you said they were in bins :)

My guess is that they are type of production blue that Welp Hatchery sells. Chicks probably wouldn't be yellow with blue patches. Even the pictures of the chicks they use in this ad are mostly blue, so I'm not sure where they're getting that desciption, lol.

Definitely not Ameraucanas - they have single combs, and in general hatcheries don't carry them, with a couple exceptions.

Yes, I got them from tractor supply. I saw that but mine have black feet instead of orange. Maybe it's just the batch they were in.

I am hoping they are production blues though. I'm also hoping they're all hens 😂
