Breed?

I got these two chicks from a co-op in Athens yesterday and it said Rhode island red on them. I know for a fact these are not Rhode island reds. I got one male and one female. The female has some greyish and yellow on her head, the male has a dark stripe on his head. No other stipes on his back or anything. Any help would be appreciated. They also both have straight combs.

It is difficult to see just what the color of the feathers will be coming in... you’ve got surprise chickens there! Have fun!

Give them a few weeks to feather out then post some more pictures
