Do you belong to the breed clubs/associations?

I get a few requests every year from members in the clubs I belong too. Also they are good for breed promotion and at the shows.

The CreamlegbarClub actually represents all three colors of Legbars and the board has actually discussed trying to get the rose combs recognized in the future. They have an online show every year that gets the person with the best birds some recognition.

That is if there even is a club for the breeds you're breeding.
Some breeds have no clubs or clubs that are almost inactive.
Other clubs are so serious and ran by a few that have certain ideas and unless your ideas are the same there's not much to benefit you.
Agree if its an active club and the right fit it can be a huge resource and a lot of fun.
