Breeding and Sperm question?

Okay when I Rooster Breeds with a hen how many eggs does it fertilize or how many days does the sperm live? Got to thinking does a roo have to breed with a hen everyday for the egg to be fertile or does sperm fertile more than one egg?

The sperm remain viable for approximately 10 days in each hen. They are able to fertilize whatever eggs are laid during that time

Actually it is usually up to 21 days - Although there have been known to be longer cases. In most instances it lasts at least 14 days.
