Breeding Broadbreasted Bronze w/ Standard Bronze to avoid artificial

Hi,
I was thinking about getting a broad breasted turkey hen and mating it with one of my standard bronze toms. Do you think it would yield a bigger turkey than a standard bronze without artificial insemination? I understand the broad breasted toms can't mate due to a large breast, but another tom that isn't broadbreasted should be able to right? Unless the BB has "junk in the trunk" so to speak? Ha ha

Right on, just dont use any BBB,OR BBW Toms, I like the BBW hen bred with royal palm, bigger bird for the table,but not as big as the BBW.

I keep my Royal Palm pure, all cross are butcher. White birds just look better dressed out.

That is something I didn't consider. What color did your Royal Palm Bronze Crosses come out? My Standard Bronzes aren't mature yet, but my Royal Palm Toms are so maybe I should keep them around and try to breed them next year with BB. Royal Palm Hens should be laying in the next 2 weeks.
