BREEDING FOR PRODUCTION...EGGS AND OR MEAT.

More good news. They had dad up and walking a bit after dinner. He was not in the ICU at all but rather a room just down the hall from ICU. According to Jason, dad walked for about 5 minutes and wanted to walk farther also he didn't use any support...no cane no walker, just the wheeled iv thing. Can go to the bathroom on his own, with someone else knowing where he is.

All good news to my mind.

Excellent!

This is wonderful news. We so appreciate you keeping us informed. Your Dad is a loved and respected gentleman.

From the way things look, this will be my last update. Aaron, who is a RN-Charge Nurse in Louisville Ky, tells me that dad's progress is not exceptional but is what is to be expected with a successful procedure and no problems were encountered. They no longer hold patients in hospitals for days on end if vitals are normal or very near normal and we can expect his release in a relatively short time but even Aaron wouldn't venture a guess...he just said sooner than I think.

Thanks again for all the support. I will still lurk for a few days if no one mines me using dads avatar. When he gets home, I'll have Jason fix my laptop and join BYC.

Praying all goes well and his recovery is speedy.

Looking forward to see you on BYC.

Great news! Speedy recovery to come. Look forward to seeing you on BYC as well, sounds like you have quite the project.

My ten year old started my first thread using MY avatar without my knowing ( I didn't even know how to start one, she had to show me). She was asking dumb little girly kid questions, I was not to happy Lol! Then I fell asleep on the couch woke up and laptop was still on BYC on the coffee table, it had a post 'why are you all so dumb, all you care about is chickens, don't you have anything better to do, what a bunch of losers' with miss spelled words, OMG!

, she's lucky she didn't hit post....

As a daily lurker on this thread I'm stepping up to say congratulations Hellbender on a successful surgery and best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. And thanks to Ariel for including us all in the good news.

This is such great news! I look forward to hearing from your dad again and from you as you refocus on your own projects. Lots of love!

I meant to post this the other day but forgot so in posting it now.

My 6 year old grandson did his own producing some meat the other day. There was a 5 day special die season here so his daddy took him to the deer woods with him. Thus is what he got:
400

His daddy had to finish the kill, but he hit it himself.
