BREEDING FOR PRODUCTION...EGGS AND OR MEAT.

I think it's best to call it what it is, cloaking nasty things in euphemisms just makes them go on unnoticed or unremarked. The best part of this, is that it's very early stage incubation eggs that get tossed and they are used in other feeds not wasted. Now if there was a way to have hens lay only female eggs, that would be even better, but this is a major achievement. Congratulations to everyone who made it happen!

I agree with the bluntness and the practicality....but I still cringe. That's just the way I'm made.

Chaga helps with arthritis, and much more. There has been many medical studies on it.
Most powerful superfood on Earth.
I figured why not, can't hurt, might counter benefit all my bad habits Lol!
I found out about it reading on a website I plan on ordering Shiitake, Oyster, Miatake, and Chicken of the woods mushroom plugs to grow on oak logs this spring. Miatake and chicken of the woods grow wild here, and I found Chaga and another medicinal mushroom Reishi.
Chaga can be bought online ground for tea. I ground up the one I found, doesn't taste like fungus, tastes like a mild tea, it's good.
There is a area in Siberia where they have been drinking it for hundreds of yrs, virtually zero occurrences of cancer or tumors in that area.

Magic mushroom....got it.

I'll definitely read up on this. I already use green tea and Turmeric capsules religiously. I'm always open to healthy alternatives to big pharma.

Sounds good, but I find it hard to believe that one mushroom fixes everthing. Especially when I read the "Chaga Benefits" above.
To each his own, let me know if it works for you.

Lol! I'm pretty healthy right now, so maybe if I live to be a 110 I can say it helped?
It's pretty funny, I've never been into such stuff. My healthy alternatives have always been beer, fresh garden vegis, fresh wild game and fish. And the healthy fish will give you mercury poisoning if you eat too much.

I'm sorry to make you feel bad, I agree totally- and, if it makes us cringe, I think that's a good thing, in an ironic kind of way.

LOL Beer Can it's not the veggie or fish, it's the Genny Cream Ale!!! Fountain of Youth.......... Although I prefer the Bock myself.

@CanadianBuckeye Wow! I wouldn't have thought anyone here would have even heard of Genny. I guess your close enough they have it up there? I usually buy Labbat's ice 24oz cans .99cents. I prefer Stouts and pale ale's, but they're $$. Can you get Saranac in Canada also? Love that stuff.
That's funny I was actually looking for Genny Bock today, hope I didn't miss it, only comes out for a short while in the spring. I'm checking the convenience store tonight before I go home. Not the best beer but I like it,and it's darker color, buy a 12pk every spring. I just love the ugly cans also Lol!

Yeah my favorite "store beer" is Guiness Extra Stout, but the Old Bisbee Brewerey makes a Royal Stout that is fairly tasty, it's just that its about 100 miles away! My brother makes his own beer, and I need to talk him into another batch of his Blueberry Lightning. That stuff will cross your eyes!

No worries. It's not that easy to make me feel bad. My skins pretty darn thick.

I'm not much of a beer person myself, but I've developed a fondness for apple ale and I've always like bourbon and wine. This year I'm trying to grow grapes in my garden area. My hubby thinks we're going to make wine outta those grapes. I guess time will tell, LOL.

Guinness is food. I brew my own with malt extract and steeping grains. Haven't done it in awhile. I usually make Catherine the Great's favorite breakfast beer, Russian Imperial Stout.
I've made a couple weird ones. George Washington small beer recipe from his diary, 2%, made with molasses and lotsa hops instead of grains. Super bitter. They only drank beer back then cause the water made you sick, who knew you should keep your sewer away from your drinking water?
Have a old recipe I want to try someday, Cock Ale; "parboil the cock, flay him, and stamp him in a stone mortar till his bones are broken (you must craw and gut him when you flay him)" put it in a sack and add it to your fermenting beer. Was popular in 17-18th century England. Lol!

My brother makes the blueberry beer with blueberries and ridiculous amounts of hops. Expensive to make, but comes out at 24 proof!
