Breeding Frizzle question

I am still learning on frizzle breeding. I am wanting to know if you breed a frizzle Polish to another frizzle Polish, will it create frazzle chicks?

Probubly but Frazzles feathers are very brittle and the chicks will be naked most of the time but @MysteryChicken is really good at genetics

Frizzle X Frizzle = Frazzle: Very Brittle Feathers.

Frizzle X Solid = 50% Frizzle, 50% Solid.

Yes, and you do not want frazzle chicks. Best to stick to Frizzle x Normal and know youll have some normal chicks

It's not a breed just a feather type and about half the chicks bred responsibly will have frizzled feathers

Frizzling is dominant, so breeding a frizzle to a normal chicken will produce more frizzle chicks (around 50% of the hatch).

I thought the drizzling was a feather type too. Then I saw online where it was referenced to a frizzle breed several times. I have my polish frizzles, but I also just bought a frizzle chicken at the feed store, so I wasn’t sure.

Are you sure it isn’t a frizzled cochin? Also, there is a breed just called a frizzle which isn’t available in the US. There are probably smooth versions of the breed used to breed back to the frizzled ones.

I have just emailed the store that I bought my frizzle from to see exactly what kind of frizzle it is. I am having a predicament, because I have a frizzle Polish rooster and hen that we hatched last year. Family has grown attached, so I am now trying to figure out how to divide everyone. I have this frizzle chick that I am thinking about throwing in with my silkies in a week or two. I am thinking maybe keep my Polish hen in with other chicks and just don’t incubate or sell her eggs. I bought four plush chicks this season and will marry them with my frizzled Polish rooster if I can. I feel like I am just so confused. I also have Chiquita chickens, which are a silkie/isbar mix coming out of Arizona. Could/should I put a frizzle in there too??
