x2That's good news!
Yeah, I read that candling is easier on dark colored eggs later than on white.uh oh candled four of her eggs, and only saw development in one, i never have candled before and the only one i sw development had a white shell. I think i supposed to wait longer for brown...btw its day 6
Sad news, i had been having a hunch all day that something had happened to her eggs, turns out i was right i opened the barn door and walked down the aisle to the broody, to look under her. What i found were eggs caked in poo, and her one egg i candled yesterday was gone and all i found was a little egg shell. Then i tried candling the other eggs, and the only dark spots were the poo. Then i came to the one small egg i thought was a dud...SURPRISE!!! I saw development, and when i twisted the egg, the embryo moved with it. So then i went to get more eggs for her, and now she has two one day old eggs, and seven 6 day old eggs. About her eggs, i think something raided her nest, i found full egg shell out of the nest, and her eggs, were clean yesterday, only thing is i dont know what did it, our barn is very secure. Also i was almost positive that her eggs, were duds, but my dad insisted i leave them oh god waiting, and waiting, well we'll see where the road leads her, i can tell shes a devoted mom, to be honest, i think she accidently broke her egg, and the little baby got soaked up by the straw. Maybe the poopy eggs will hatch. Probably not.
