I watched over the weekend as Lester the Lavender's eggs went for an amazing $200. Evidently the "lavender orp" project is a success.

I'm wondering what other type of "projects" are going on out there. I know that self-blue and lavender are very desirable to some.
Do you have a breeding project going on right now, and if so, what breed are you working with and what characteristics are you breeding for?

I'm working on Blue Golden Duckwing Old English. I got my first generation hatching right now.

I want to get their type as fabulous as my Whites, but they've got a long way to go. It's always a White, BBRed, Wheaton, or some other common color that wins the OE class, I'd like to make a real show stopper out of a rare color!

Love to see some pics. I have a buff silkie named Tina Turner and she has a very "red" quality about her. However, I believe that she thinks she's a rooster at the moment.
