Not a new color, but I want to cross Orps and Brahmas to try and get a BIG (less hawk damage), winter laying (its cold here), broody (I want them to reproduce on their own), dual purpose bird.

I'm playing with colors now, Dark Brahma x BBS Orp could be pretty, Lt Brahma x Buff would give sex linked benefits.

Any comments/thoughts would be appreciated.

I am in the very beginning stages of working on a great layer of large sized blue and/or green eggs.

Pedigreed EEs, if you will.

I have some beginning stock, but some of them are still in the brooder, so I have a long way to go.

5) Top Secret breeding project.

I would like to work on a Jubilee Wyandotte and or Jubilee Orpington.

There are Brown Porcelain/ Milli Fleur Wyandotte in Europe. I haven't seen much mention of them in the US besides on wish lists. I know there are a few in the US working on Jubilee Orpingtons. I just need to figure out which color Wyandotte to cross to a Speckled Sussex to achieve this goal.
