Breeding silkies/chickens - have some questions **PICS ADDED page 2**

5 or 6 I will have to check. Umm he won't be seeing winter this year. He is a house chicken! Duh! Oh and I just so happen to have a knock out black spending the weekend with me now. You should bring your girls over. I am sure he would be happy to oblige! Or when I get babies from my babies I am sure they will all be just as nice, and we can do some swapping. I would love babies from Cole. I am proud to be part of this line up also.

NewToFarming, I do not breed for the vaulted skull. They pop up in my pens from time to time but I don't prefer them. I've found the mortality rate in newly hatched chicks can be higher in those with the vaulted skulls.

So the answer is no, it is not a DQ if there is no vault.
