Breeding with the duckwing pattern

Sorry Sneebsey I think for the first time I'm going to have to disagree.
By the book black is the right answer but I crossed quite a few black Xs brown and silver leghorns.
So far out of about 25 pullets they all show some leakage in the hackles. A few just have maybe a dozen specks of gold or silver. Some have a very noticeable amount and one looks almost birchen with it extending into the breast area.
Unfortunately I sold every cockerel as soon as I knew they were males so no idea on final product but would imagine they would have more leakage. Probably hackles and saddle areas.
Interesting also I did same cross with barred male over duckwing females. Females are barred with hints of dull black to brownish in random areas. Assume the brownish is from gold s and dull black is from silvers.
Males look barred with hints of the duckwing pattern. From the gold crosses there's definitely a lot of golden leakage.

@The Moonshiner , thanks for the correction; you are seeing a lot more leakage than I generally do. I do have a lot of melanin enhancers in my flock, which could contribute to my results. So far only one of my E/e+ pullets has shown any red, though many were blue or lav, so could be hiding more. I've actually been trying to push away from E and ER. About 3/4 of mine have one or both at the moment.

ETA: Would love to see the barred birds you mentioned showing brown; they sound gorgeous.

A related question...
Is silver wheaten the same as silver duckwing?? I did not think so, but I just received an email from Ann Charles' regarding 2 chicks she has for sale. The message is titled "Silver Wheaten" chicks but within the email she states they are the first of her silver duckwings she would be selling. Typo?? :idunno

Typo or confusion.
Wheaten and duckwing are different patterns and both have a silver version.
Silver leghorns are silver duckwing.
Salmon faverolles are silver wheaten.

What breed?
Quite a few silver duckwing breeds but off top of my head SF are the only silver wheaten breed I can think of.
Just curious.

Can you tell which color they are by this picture?:
