Thank you very much Quaiken108. I don't have a photo of #6 directly front on, but can take one tomorrow.

The lighter Marans may be a splash.Thank you. I think you must be correct. Do you have any idea what sort of Maran the light one would be?
Hi lovely people. I'm new to having baby chicks and just so eager to figure out if they're boys or girls.
I requested a mixed bunch of:
- gold laced Wyandottes
- silver DL barnevelder
- Australorps
- Orpingtons
- marans
I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what is what (some are getting obvious, some not so much) and take a guess at whether they are boys or girls.
I have tried to make a guess based, but interested to see what others think. Thank you

Another gold laced Wyandotte
Number 1 isn’t an SLW. I’m unsure of the comb but the body is brownish and the lacing on the wings resembles the silver double laced barnevelder which was mentioned as one of the possible breeds. 6 in my opinion is unlikely a blue andalusian because they usually have a lighter chest blue australorp seems more likely.First is a slw
2nd is an australorp
3rd a splash maran
4th looks like something possibly mottled
5th is a maran
6th could be a blue andelusion
7th is a lavender orp
8 is a glw
9 is a lav orp
10 is a glw

Thank you. I thought that would be the case, but I'm so impatientYou have a lovely little flock. There is no real way to tell the sex at that age. Here is a tip often times the female chicks tend to get their tail bud before the males do. Good luck and have fun with your flock...
