Breeds good with heat?

I was surprised how many eggs mine lays. She's still young, but I don't think she's missed a day yet.

If I weren't so keen on getting some colored eggs, I'd probably get more NNs. Right now I have an order for EEs, OEs, and Legbars.

You can mix those girl's with a Naked Neck rooster and end up with even more colors that the pullet offspring will lay. I did that. I had a few that would lay green egg's, but I used the Crested Cream Legbar's.

@Mamatomany123, I felt the same initially about naked necked birds! My daughter wanted a showgirl Silkie (NN/Silkie cross), but I thought they were the ugliest chickens… we got one and she’s the sweetest! Hatched shipped eggs a year or so later and got two more showgirls. Then our frizzled showgirl cockerel bred with our serama pullet and we got a frizzled serama mix with a naked neck! They all grew on me & we enjoy having naked necked birds now.
