Breeds in Pepper...?

#1 Single combed cockerel. (My brother named him Wallace after a Fire Emblem character...)
#2 Pullet.
#3, #4 Rose combed cockerel.
#5 Better pic of Pepsi's comb.

The rose combed cockerel lived for about a year before being killed by his brother.
Single combed cockerel died shortly after by a fox.
Then not long after that I found the hen dead.

I was upset about them having such short lives. They were also the only offspring of my favourite rooster.
They had such interesting colorations. I’m sorry you lost them! :(

You call your Pepper Pepsi too? COPYCAT!

What about a black orpington/black orpington mix?
Idk. Could be Lavender something, its hard to know. Or the mix of a mix of a mix, lol.
She's sure pretty.
Her comb is interesting. It almost looks like Spicy's comb.

It does!
Have to say I really do like rose combs.
Some people think they're ugly.

definitely something else in her besides wyandotte as they lay pale pinky brown eggs not white.

Love the "chicks from a shady guy"!

You must love her a lot since you've kept her and she gives you no eggs. After my own heart!

I don't get rid of birds. She's a lovely girl. A bit flighty, but nice natured.

Her eggs were very pale.

I re-homed one bird in all this time, a young Chantecler cockerel who decided my leg was a good thing to attack. He went to a nice place and got himself a few new girlfriends.

Fortunately I'm allowed cockerels now. I can happily be overrun.
My cockerel ratio is rather worrying at 4 boys to 8 girls. Suppose I'll just have to find some pullets.
Yeah me neither! Mine are pets. Have only had to rehome roosters
What breeds do you have?
