Bresse sexing confirmation

Our first run of Bresse chicks and I think we got pretty unlucky with 3 roos but posting the lot to make sure before we attempt to find homes elsewhere. They are around 7 weeks at this point and we are pretty confident the 3 tagged ones are roos and the last is our lone hen.

Any advice on how to keep her happy until we have others come along to keep her company? The boys are starting to want to talk so we can't keep them in the neighborhood sadly.

Hello, you're right, the first 3 are cockerels and the last is a pullet. As to keeping her happy alone, how long will it be before you get more? She'd be ok alone for a little while, but if it's going to be months, maybe you could find some other pullets somewhere sooner?

We have another 6 various hatchlings at about 3 weeks. Sadly it looks like about 3 more males there. Not the best of luck so far!

Oh no! If you have at least a couple of pullets, she should be ok alone for a week or two while they get a bit bigger.
