Just got home and found this... now to weigh, etc.

Tempted to let her range and watch her behavior after weighing.

Yes, she’s lost weight. 6.6 lbs.

I’m stalking Bridget as she walks around the yard. Body language is actually pretty good. Margo is staying with her.

In my opinion, she probably needed to be on a downward swing. For a hatchery rock I think that she was on the heavy side at 7.4. I can't see the dates clearly but would be interested to know if you changed anything in your feed/management routine that tied in with that reduction, as most of the other birds seem to have had a downward trend at that point too.

Yes, I switched from 22% grower to the mix (half layer, half grower).

Bridgey is vocalizing a bit, which is a relief. She does look a bit waddley, I think. She just asserted her position over Bagheera, which is also good.

So this morning when I let the girls out, a few of them were on the floor of the upper deck of the coop. Do you think that could be a clue? Bridge usually is the last to come down. Maybe she fell down and was sore this morning? That still doesn’t explain why she wouldn’t eat tunafish last night.

Bridgey is acting better. Margo is acting unwell and hasn’t laid in a week. BUT, last year Margo molted in two phases/stages, so I’ve been half expecting this.

I would just let her out with the others. Check her crop in the morning.

Can you please tell us what you use for the weight chart and what you use to weight, please. I would need to do that
