I was looking at coops like that with the open front, how does it do in the winter? Do you block the open front at all?

We covered the front with 30mm clear marine vinyl because its very cold and windy here in the winter. We put grommets in it so we can reuse it every year. Works well. But it has openings at the top for ventilation. We will take it off in May.
