I went rushing outside at 6am to do the morning ritual...but I rushed back inside just as fast to put on some extra clothes! It's downright nippy out there!

Looks like we're gonna have a short summer...if we have one at all.

Well here I go again, the old guy offering unsolicited advise. Neither of you two young ladies have lived in Michigan long enough to know, but you will have to pay real close attention if you are going to enjoy a Michigan summer. They don't last very long and we're soon back to knockin' ice out of water buckets.

I wanna go home...to Tennessee.

Howdy Kassy68!! Welcome!

I am now hatching chickens!! The guinea and ringneck pheasant are done. I got over 30 pheasant! All of the guinea except one hatched (6). Now the chicks are hatching! YAY!! Last night there was one pheasant that kept crying and we did not know why, so we just went about our business. A little while later my husband got sick of it and really listened close to him. Well he was in the living room!!!! I guess when I was moving out the dry ones he must have fallen out and made his way into the living room.

Yeah, but just remember there you have to deal with ticks, chiggars, spiders, and snakes.
