We got daughter's loft bed built yesterday, but have drug our feet on finishing the trim in her room. It is supposed to be in the 90s all week, so we go from WET to HOT pretty quickly.

So, we get set up for the show Saturday and they put out a significant weather alert for our area

So, we tarp everything and hope for the best. It pours down rain for about 2 hours, finishes about an hour and a half before we started and the show went on!

It went off with hardly any problems (except for the drunk performer

Now, I have the big state show to look forward to.

I am so excited to see pics of the puppy!! I love big dogs, but they grow so darned fast!

I'm glad everything went well despite the weather

I love outdoor concerts. I used to bartend at large venues in college. Indoor and out. I saw so many great concerts that way, I have shoe boxes full of all sorts of tickets, back stages passes, etc that I worked at. I could tell stories....I don't bartend anymore. My patience with extremely drunk folks at concerts ran thin as I got older.

My daughter will be here tomorrow, so I'm trying to get all the towels washed before she gets here, because she likes to hoard them in her room.

As for the drunk man, he was an older gentleman and even though my boss was horrified, I didn't think he did too bad of a job and was by far the most entertaining! He came just in time to get on stage and left immediately afterward to go back to the bars!

No harm, no foul then. The guy just wanted to sing!

My daughter will use a towel once, leave the towel in her room. Shower again later, grab ANOTHER towel, leave that in her room, etc. Drives me nuts!

I go to grab a towel, and there's none left!

My DH is supposed to be back Satuday, but they have been dropping hints of him staying a day or two later. Well, he looked into changing the flights, and told his boss it will cost 3 grand to change flights. So, we still aren't sure yet. They REALLY want him to stay for the cocoa cola execs, but not if it's going to cost that much to change tickets. It's all still up in the air.

PRC do you think maybe your rooster is a BB sport? Or a BB red? I don't know about all the colors, but from what I understand you can get a BB sport, and BB red out of a Blue Red. I don't know, just a thought.
