Cool! Thanks. The lady I bought him from had just got him the night before from her father, and said it was a bantam RIR. But the lady that was hosting it told me later that she thought it was a OEGB, but all the picks I saw didn't look like him and had me wondering. Now I know what he is for sure! (and what color) Thanks again! He is my second favorite bird now...after my SQ Silkie roo, Danzig! Oh yeah... I got to name this one, He is "Johnny Rotten".(after the Sex Pistols)

cool name! I'm glad you got him! They are such great little chickens! They will take on anything in the yard too!! But they are so sweet with people!

Let me vent a bit!! I got a call from a lady that wanted to know if I could go get a peacock that had wandered onto a daycare. The daycare had called AC because they did not know if the peacock would hurt the kids, and they thought AC would remove the bird and rehome it. Well AC said on Friday that they were going to go after the daycare closed today and SHOOT it! So began the calls to save it.(ending with me) A couple of hours ago Ac went and Killed the peacock DURING daycare hours and then left the body in the woods!!!! I have heard of them shooting many dogs without even trying to catch them.(well one guy mostly) The lady called me crying and so mad at the county. I promptly gave her the number to call the health Director!! Such jerks! I am so mad!!!

I am working on it, they are so lazy they did not even try to catch it!! Some people have no business working with living creatures!! I am so upset!

If they would have waited until after the daycare closed the peacock would have been gone! But they did not want to work after hours I betcha!!

The poor thing, they were chasing it for over an hour! It was so scared and just running all over the place from what the daycare said.

I used to work at the HD here and the Health Director is over the HD and AC so I happen to know the numer and who to talk to. But he is fully aware of past unmentionable conduct by these workers!
