I spent the day shoving out old pine shavings and adding new ones. One of my Isa's just started laying, and she hasn't figured out the whole nest box thing yet. So I spend the day watching closely so I can grab it before anyone decides the egg looks like something cool to peck.
I already have a DD, she's a teenager, and sometimes moody
We have been having an incredible summer, night time temps low 60's daytime temps mid 70s. Great for us, terrible for the garden. My worst crop ever. Except lettuce, it loves the cooler temps.
I'm playing with my horse this weekend. Made some progress today. I am very very very slow at training her, cuz I'm trying to learn how to train.
Where I live is considered Salad Bowl. Tons of lettuce. Our temps are always about like that, nights in the 40's and 50's during summer. Lots of fog too, for the artichokes! No wonder I have such a hard time growing a garden!
