Bring your "Howdy's" here!

its a 00 grand am. My mother never reparied it and it died at 250,000 miles. 1 deer took out the right side mirror, I accidently took out the left one lol!. Then a big buck took out the left fender, header panel and the headlights. Got some beutiful scrapes and dents on the hood. I fixed everything so far. Only thing I wont fix is the hoses and manifold. the rest I can do. I also got rid of the stock radio and put in a kenwood KDC-BT838U. My future project car will be a 67 mustang. For now I will practice on this

Oh yeah pics to come soon. I plan on going to a college to repair cars one day. I just do this on my free time

I'm normally a thread killer. My DH thinks it's because I have 420 in my username so people don't take me seriously. I refuse to use any other username because this one has meaning to me. So, I'll explain my username.
Bluemoon is a nickname from my native american grandmother. It was giving to me the day I was born ( 4/20/ Year is top secret) There was a freak snowstorm the day I was born, and my grandmother said it happens once in a bluemoon. The name stuck, and has been with me ever since

I love to read, and do my own research which is how I ended up here about a year ago. I didn't sign up until recently.

To Shelley... I spoke to Opa on the phone today, and will call you later. I am the one looking for cochins

Wow sounds great! I wish I knew how to do ANYTHING on cars! My husband does all the repairs, and is not really intrested in a "project"!

I think it because he is always building me more coops for my chickens, ducks, geese, goats, peacocks, and what ever else I drag home!!

Lol! I wish I knew how to build a coop. Darn thing would fall after it's finished. My mom got me a 85 grand prix but i was not really interested in it. Reason she got it was because I was born in 85. It was to heavy for me drive wise and in order for it to move you have to floor the gas. So we traded cars and she will be getting the 85 grand prix fixed along with the 96 grand am my brother has. I am to stubborn to have someone fix my car. I would rather do the body work myself.

sorry for rambling on

I never hurts to have one more thread for people wanting to be friends. If people feel more comfortable in one thread than another, so be it. It's all good as long as we never get critical of one another. If someone sees something different than you remember they are standing in a different place.

My grandfather was native american...Cherokee. Provided I'm able to keep up with everyone...no one will be a threadkiller here. And I think I speak for many who have joined this thread today.

Thanks Shelley. My family is Narragansett Indian. I'm from Rhode Island.

I'm about to go run some errands, and should be home around then. Talk to you soon, and have fun at T ball

I can build a coop, and I'm somewhat smart about what's wrong with a car...but as far as fixing what's wrong...there's a limit to what I can do in that department.
