My husband and I had many a "discussion" over how the coop needed to be built! lol But, in all seriousness, I think the whole chicken thing has brought us closer as a family. It used to be the hubby and son did their thing, daughter and I did our thing, but now we spend so much time with the birds and each other it has been really nice. (well, at least most of the time) And I have learned that I can get out and actually build something with assistance. It is a great sense of accomplishment. Last weekend I even drove the posts for the goat pen, helped build the house and painted it myself (with a little help from the goose). I was so proud of myself!

That's awesome!!! Good for you! I guess chickens work in mysterious ways! LOL
