Rachel-- You need to post pics of your coop when it is done! I do hope you get the chickens you want. I wish I could help your with your work situation, hang in there and show them who the better person is! I could send over our idiot secretary, that would keep them entertained for a while and leave you alone! lol Do you mind me asking what line of work you are in? Eat some ice cream, it will make you feel better!

I am so upset and disappointed!

I ordered some welsummer eggs from someone on BYC and they are all broken and scrambled!!! The packing sucked and the box was weak. I sent a Pm to the seller, but I don't know what will happen!! I was so excited too!

I am so sorry to hear that. Maybe they will make it right for you though. I meant to ask earlier, how is your husband doing with his toothache?

I have told him to quit messing with it and to use salt water but he insists on using the orajel q-tip to try to break the pocket on his gum. I have decided that he is grown and I can only give him advise and gripe alot!!

Thanks Paty and Michelle. I feel a little better after venting a bit...but still pretty blah. Ice cream would definitely help! It's a touchy situation and I'm trying to be understanding but I've definitely been taken advantage of and it blows. I'm not sure that it's as easy as going to her bosses, I'll have to think about that one and weigh the negatives. I have a feeling that if I stirred up a ruckus I'll be paying for it with my job, somehow. BTW Michelle, I work in animal control. I love(d) my job! But it's now at the point where I dread coming to work because of them and that makes this job difficult because sometimes I need to rely on my coworkers in dangerous situations. Oh, but I forgot...I'm always alone here anyway, so scratch that last part!

As for the Polish, you're right Paty... I'll bid on them once more. If I don't win, maybe it just wasn't meant to be. I've been seriously considering baby chicks lately anyway, mainly due to all the stuff I've been reading on here about the horrors of bringing home started birds!

Well, at least the building part of my coop will be done today. Then it's just painting, hardware cloth, hardware, and setting it up! Very exciting. I'll definitely post pics this weekend. I'll have my little Houdans, hopefully both pullets!
