Nice coop PRC. Everything Doug's done on our coop has been sort of just off the top of his head. He would sketch it, but end up not following the sketch LOL

Good morning everyone!

PRC ~ OMG!! I love you coop so far!

My husband has to build our silkies their own coop. I will have to show him yours to give him some ideas!

I have not been on much ... it was just so nice here over the weekend! We were out in the yard, weeding, playing with the kids and chickens, grilling and other random things outdoors. Today is gonna be a busy one - lots of errands to do.

I will catchup sometime later this afternoon! But first I need to get some more coffee!

Wonderful coop and chicken pics.

I had a nice lunch with my niece yesterday. Met her boyfriend and his son. My youngest son and his girlfriend came too. After lunch, we went to Monterey to the wharf and Cannery Row and walked through all the shops. Then we went to my other son's house and my niece met my new granddaughter. It was a fun day.

Now, I am off to work, my last 5 days, then I am off for the summer. I will be playing with chickies, and bunnies and horsie, this summer, as well as my grandchildren.
DH is still unemployed too, laid off couple months ago. Yikes. He's been playing with the chickies while I am at work, and do you know what, he actually kissed a chickie the other day!! Shocker!! Yes, the addiction is spreading!

hey guys I am back. It has been a tough weekend my husbands grandpa passed away and we have been down there all weekend. We came homes late last night. My chicks were missing me I went out in the coop this morning and they all came running over I dunno if it was just because they wanted their food..lol or if they missed me.

Well looks like yall have been talking up a storm sence I have been gone had to read like 6 pages to catch up. hope everyone is having a great day.

This is what I've done today... I made a window but made it square as trying to trim a church window that small would be a real pain. I also added a pop-door, and a small planter for flowers. I just nee to trim the corners and the peak of the roof. Oh, and the stovepipe chimney! I need some help...Any suggestions on color combinations for the coop?

I was gonna paint it to match our house which is a greyish color called Crushed Rock and white trim with black shudders and door. But I ran out of the paint that I had that was left over from the construction of my house. Now that I gotta buy some paint, I'm open to all suggestions.
