Good Friday Morning!!
Rachel--The coop looks so cool and cozy! The chicks should all be very happy there for a long time! (until you add on!)
PRC--This is about the only thread I go to anymore too. Just stay here with us and we will try to keep you under control!
Bluemoon--We are expecting wicked thunderstorms today/tonight too.
So, I have some bad news, they put a chance of showers/thunderstorms in the forecast for tomorrow's show, but I am staying optimistic. And can I pause a moment to rant (going to anyway). IF YOU enter a singing competition, why do you think it is the responsibility of the radio station/coordinator to help you find your background music?? I have had 2 calls, one this morning (hello, the show is tomorrow) frantically trying to find music.
I went out to feed the birds yesterday. With the boys gone, it is quite the chore. Anyway, the darned BO rooster attacked me again! This is the second time it has happened. He had me cornered (again) and actually pecked the heck out of the back of my legs! The first time he didn't actually get me, but wanted to really badly. I feel bad because he was one of the tamest of the flock when he was younger, but after the oldest roo passed, he decided he was king of the coop. Son is really attached to him, so I don't know what we are gonna do.
On a positive note, I had good news yesterday. You guys probably don't know what I am talking about, but it is a big deal. As you know, son is at boy scout camp and a member of the mic-o-say tribe there. His troop was picked to build the tapping fire and spent many hours and days gathering all the wood and stuff they needed to build it and spent the week down there building it. It is like 20 ft high and 16 ft at the base. Colton called me yesterday and asked if I was coming down. Told him I wasn't planning on it, then told me he was chosen to light the fire! So, Destiny and I drove the hour and a half to see it and got home about 1 am. I (again) overslept for work, but that's okay because boss and his sons were big in the scouts/tribe thing and he was the one to insist that we leave work early to do chores and get down there.
