Bringing Chicks outside?

The babies are loving it. They were a little wary at first but are comfy now. One is even trying to fly, I've decided to name her Amelia.

Great name. Glad they are loving it.
Thanks. So far they are Paprika (Speckled Sussex) Fulffy B (Blue Andalusian) Isabella (Maran) Panda, Amelia (Buff Orps) Ellie, Marjoram (Gold Sexlink) Salt and Pepper ( Wyandottes) The final 3 don't have names yet.

I also name all my pets. dogs. cats. chickens , and pigeons. I also never reuse names. Sort of like famous jersey numbers in pro sports. =D=D=D. It gets challenging to come up with unique names that fit particular pet. It is the only way I can recall the names , if they naturally fit description.

Maybe I should just switch to bar codes...

It crossed my mind to steal some of the names posted here.

I just took my 5 week old chicks from inside to there new outside coop two days ago. Any suggestions on how to get them to go into there coop and roost? Will it help if I bought a couple adult hens at my local livestock market and threw out there with them.?

The adult chickens is not the solution. Some would say it to even be a bad Idea. Your chickens will learn on their own in a few days. Best way;;; when they are in their coop, open their door and let them leave on their own. Don't hurry them. When they see from where they left, they will return there at sundown or earlier. A few days and they will have it mastered.
Update us with progress in a few days. I feel confident.
