I am thinking about bringing some fresh eggs on my carry on on the plane. I was wondering what the best way to store them so that they don't break?

Like hatching eggs? in an egg carton, maybe a plastic one. it must be a container the tsa can get into no fuss and it's up to the individual tsa agent to approve or reject bringing raw eggs through security. There's a paper can print out somewhere on the tsa site for eggs, I think.

They are allowed. Finial decision is left to tsa agent which is arbitrary.

Fat side up in an egg carton stored top of your carry bag. You're not hiding anything and the most secure place is with you in your carry bag. Also if security wants to declare raw eggs a nation threat you can simply hand them over and move on. Or negotiate a number that meets the 3 oz of liquid requirement which is the only thing I can foresee an agent ignorant of rules claiming.
