I saw an advertisement on BYC for the Brinsea Mini Eco Incubator. I thought it looked interesting, so I clicked on it. I like that you can watch the chicks hatch inside.

I already have a Little Giant Still Air Incubator, but I can't get the right temperature to hatch chicks. Is the Mini Incubator easy to get the right temp?

    Thank you!

    Yes! Go for it!

I have Brinsea Mini incubators, but they are the Advance model, Not the Eco. However, other BYCers have used the ECO models with good success.

They do hold temp and humidity very well, and recover temp FAST after you put the cover back on when you've completed turning the eggs.

I'm thinking about buying this one too. I'm so close to getting it, but not sure if I want to be a hatching addict, lol. Everyone says go for it, like gryeyes, though. So I think it's a good choice.

Is there a hydrometer included? I'm thinking if buying one today but it doesn't say if there is one included or not. Also, is the water pot cover and the adapter included or do I have to buy those separately

Did you figure out a hydrometer? I bought this and put a cheap hydrometer/thermometer in it but don't think it works right as the temp on it is way off. What did you end up putting in it if you got it?

I didn't buy my mini eco from the brinsea website. I bought it from a different website that included a hydrometer/thermometer. I'll add a pic later if I have time :) I might be getting some chicks on Monday so I have to get my older chicks moved today.
