I checked the temp with a prob and it measures 99.1 I think I'll bunmp it up half a degree like you suggest. So far it seems to maintain the temp amazingly well.

Great to hear about the temp holding. I was shocked at how much difference half a degree made. I had two strung out hatches, raised it, then BAM! Popping like popcorn on day 21. The other thing I started doing was rotating the egg trays 180 degrees every time I added water because I was always about a degree lower against the wall. Since you have the EX, you probably won't have to add water, but it is something you could consider. I can't wait to see how this turns outI checked the temp with a prob and it measures 99.1 I think I'll bunmp it up half a degree like you suggest. So far it seems to maintain the temp amazingly well.
If that thing is better than the 20, I'm going to be in trouble...Just checked the temp in multiple spots around the incubator and the biggest difference I have seen is .2 degrees, that is on the side walls. Every other spot seems to be holding a perfect 99.6 degrees. The side walls are 99.4. I did have to bump up the temp on the unit to 99.8 to get it where I wanted. so far I am extremely happy..... keeping in mind I have only had eggs in for a day. Ha!
That sounds like heaven.... sigh (I have a little giant...lol)Just checked the temp in multiple spots around the incubator and the biggest difference I have seen is .2 degrees, that is on the side walls.
