Update!
Well today is day 7 already.
So this morning I tried candling the eggs!
I candled all 17 three times.
Because all of them but three were so porous. What is the reason they are so porous?
The three that weren't porous I could see a small embryo!
Well I hope the porous eggs were fertile because I could see absolutely nothing.
I'll candling again soon and hopefully see something more!

FBC,Could it be the breed?Some have very dark eggs and they are hard to candle.What r u using for a candler?

My five Fbc marans.
I'm incubating eggs that a neighbor wanted me to hatch for him, The breeds are Rhode Island crosses I think.
1300 lumen and 400 lumen Costco flash lights!
I think I might put some marans eggs in the incubator the 25th so they hatch the day before Easter!

So today is day ten with my incubator!
I candled the eggs again and found out that the reason I couldn't see anything was because only five of the 17 eggs are fertile.
So that means my neighbors rooster is not doing his job!
Day 14 I'm going to candle and throw out the eggs that don't have an embryo inside.

Day 21 have one silkie baby and another trying to hatch.Having a hard time keeping up humidity,put a straw in and keep adding water to keep it at 60%.Filled both wells and added paper towels at lockdonwn
