Poults (turkey babies) & peachicks (peafowl babies) can be a little harder to get started. So I weigh them at birth, then every few days. Those that don't gain weight get supportive care until they start to gain weight.I was wondering why you put them all on a scale. Trying to rescue them explains it. Good luck with the 3 poor babies.
Glad to see Waggel (T6) and the other hatch survivers are fine.![]()
And sometimes I track their weight for a few months as this can be a good weigh to sex them. My previous weighing experiments have shown that the much heavier poults & peachicks are male.
