If both parents are homozygous on all alleles where that is possible you have these three possibilities

50% AABBCcchdDDeeEnen (broken black agouti non-extention)

25% AABBCcchdDDeeenen (black agouti non-extention)

25% AABBCcchdDDeeEnEn (Charlie black agouti non-extention) -this one would be particularly interesting since Charlie's already have most of their pigment removed, plus the addition of the non-extention which will further remove dark pigmentation

The most complicated scenario leads to 156 unique allelic combinations.

This is the 5 trait cross with locus’ A-E, but then you have to multiple this Punnet Square by three (technically by four but two quarters will be broken so it is not unique allelic combinations) to account for the En locus.

Alright, no kits yet... But Mir is pacing and checking her nest continually. I am going to stalk her today and get a good video of babies moving in her for ya!

Poor dummy.
Is she eating?
Do rabbits stop eating before giving birth?
I have no clue.

Very small amounts. But her diet just increased in the slightest... Sometimes that happens on day 28ish and then it stops completely. I am watching her very closely so I'll know when she stops completely.

And yes, they usually stop eating a day or two before.

Can anyone help in vision a second floor for floofers on this hutch?? Caspian's in it right now... But I want to make a second floor. Kinda a wet day tho lol. I need to write up some plans. Also it is higher than in the pictures, I'm not sure why it looks so short. I would keep Vera and Mirabelle up here and then have them in my rabbit tractor during the day. I probably give off the keeping my rabbit in the house vibes, but we just aren't in that stage of life right now. They all live outdoors or the garage. And they all grow huge coats and are perfectly capable of living out here in the winter :) and Ideas for how I should build it?

Eeek!! I can’t wait to see. This is her first litter right?
Actually her second! But I didn't own her when she had her first kits and it didn't go very well. She had lots of still born and I think maybe one of two made it. I don't know the buck she was bred with, her living conditions, nor how she was treated, so maybe it was on her previous owners. We will just have to see :) she is getting supreme treatment through this pregnancy, she is obviously not stressed and is very relaxed. No reason for things to go badly, but still possible.

Louie meeting Cora the kitty through the fence lol. This is a better picture to show you his color. Pictures still don’t capture it!

Aw!! Our dogs LOVE the rabbits! Since they come in to our house daily, they are very used to them. It's so funny to watch them study each other 😂
