They made it through the night! And they’ve already changed. So crazy! I’ll get another picture later.

Mir is at day 17 and actually pulled a little fur today very prepared

It’s so interesting how different they can be. Quinn pulled zero hair until the night she had them! But maybe because she didn’t have the nest box

I usually always worry so much when new babies are born on the farm so I check on them often lol! Anyways, checked on the babies a few times yesterday and in the afternoon, one of the babies was out of the nest box and looked like momma had pushed it under the hay in or hay feeder, maybe her attempt to keep it warm! I assume it stayed latched on when mom hopped out of the box. She was so cold and not moving much. I took her inside and warmed her up and she immediately started moving around. I put her back with the other babies and she’s doing great! Amazing how resilient they can be!

That's wonderful! So what is the for sure count of kits?

She has three live kits! And I think it’s two girls and a boy! Two broken colored and one solid.

I think she had at least 5 but could have had more. But next time will turn out better! She was pulling fur again this morning so really hoping she doesn’t have any others May 11th.
