BRM's Bunny Thread! ❤️🐰❤️

Just trying to not let this 31 days until Lilly is due seem as long as Quinn’s did lol! Nightly cuddles with the babies help. Although, I’m certain if the broken blue is a girl, I won’t be able to get rid of her. She’s so sweet. So now I’m debating bringing Quinn and her indoors when the other two find their new homes 😬
Do itttttttt 🤣

I have the most devastating news…Quinn died suddenly over night. I have no idea what happened to her. She was fine last night. Her babies are only four weeks old. I’m so devastated and at a loss. Soooo devastated.
Oh my gosh. I am so, so, so sorry. That is absolutely heart breaking 😞 are the babies okay? I have heard of them being weened that young. And feeding them yourself is absolutely impossible. I would try to get them to eat lots of hay and grass, maybe water the pellets down with some warm water? Gosh, I am so sorry!

Actually maybe you can hand feed them since they are older... Nearly impossible with young kits.

They are starting to eat pellets so hopefully they will be ok. I went out and got the supplies I needed to move them indoors so I can watch them more closely. I also have kitten replacer and got a bottle to at least try to get them some milk. I also got alfalfa hay to mix with the mixed grass hay my rabbits normally eat. We are getting them set up and moved inside now. I’m just so sad and devastated about Quinn. I just don’t understand. Ugh!

Everyone is eating! We will try a bottle later tonight. I have hopes they will be ok.

They. Are. So. Cute.
Like, my eyes are bleeding from how DARLING those little buns are.

I’m so sorry for your doe, animals suck sometimes. But in the end, God knows when every sparrow falls, so you can be sure she’s in good hands!
Thank you, yes it is hard to understand why, especially not having a clue what happened. And sometimes I want to quit with the animals when things like this happen. But they bring so much joy to our family also. These babies will bring us much needed joy being in the house! They are very sweet buns!

I feel so awful for you having gone through this before. So terrible. But maybe you can keep a part of Quinn through her offspring?:hugs
