Nothing yet, I’m beginning to wonder if she’s even pregnant. My only thought that keeps me thinking she is pregnant is that I still feel soft lumpy things in her belly. This morning between 8am-9am, she was in her nest box a lot, mostly digging, chewing up pieces of cardboard (there are two layers), but also pushing the hay around and almost like patting it down. But then she’d also eat a lot of it. When I looked in her nest afterwards it seemed like a nest but maybe I’m wrong. Then I tried to breed Tilly and Ember and got nothing from either buck. So, it’s a bit discouraging. I just really hope at least Lilly or Willow will have babies.
On the bucks or does?
Well they just turned 6 months so maybe they are not quite ready yet. Hershey was interested in Ember but no fall off. Kind of the same for Louie and Tilly but not as much. Louie has not bred yet so he’s still trying to figure it out it seems like. But I checked their vulva and Tillys was light pink which leads me to believe she isn’t ready. Embers was red/purple so she should be ready. I’ll try again tomorrow. It just makes me laugh at the phrase “breeding like rabbits” because that is so not true from my experience haha.
