Haha! Thank you! The chickens are doing great and I've only had one egg quit out of 8 so far. But the quail I've hatched in here really haven't done that well.That tells me a lot. LOL
This tells me that you do not have calibrated thermometers in your bator which means you probably have hot and cool spots that you don't even know about which is probably why you have so many eggs quitting.
I always assume everyone knows not to trust built in readings on incubators. Buy 4 thermometers to calibrate. <<<<LINK
If you place four in your bator you can se AT ONE GLACE what the temp is in a few areas at the same time.
It is very likely you have a spot that is getting too hot and killing.
Having multiple thermometers will help you learn your bator better.
Same for the humidity.
Purchase one like this (<LINK) and salt test it so you can be sure that your bator isn't running too high or too low...both with kill.
I may not know rabbit colors but I have EXCELLENT hatch rates.
