I initially thought (hoped) the pictures were fake/photoshopped. If those are real chickens . . . yikes.

How did she acquire Rudy?Those chickens are real. A no longer active member of the sister gardening forum had a long thread about the one she called Rudy. You might enjoy reading it. They are not practical, she knitted him clothing to keep him warm, and they take work. But they are real.
