These things don't look real. Sorry but I just think birds should have feathers.
They were developed for hot climates to cut down on mortality rate of conventional Cornish crosses. The downsides were that they needed protection from the sun as they have no feathers.
 
How did she acquire Rudy?
I haven’t read the attached thread as I’m catching up on my notifications.
According to her first post, she inadvertently bred two chickens who both had the recessive gene necessary to create a featherless chicken.
