Broiler Naked Neck Crosses

Desert Chick do you have any Naked Neck roosters available?
i will love to get one, i recently purchased 5 Naked Neck pullets.

Actually, I do have one. This is Dusty. He's just over 24 weeks old. He was the second largest boy in his group so I'd held onto him, but right now I have more than an enough roosters to work with. (He was only 16 weeks in this photo.)

I know this is a slightly older thread, but I’m always looking at other people’s naked neck meaties.
I have 4 happy sweet CX ladies that are 18 weeks old, (yes; restricted feed, ranging in the afternoons with the regular chickens, bugs, exercise, and all that jazz) that I think may make it to laying age. I also have a lovely white NN roo that I got at the same hatching time and they are all buddies. My fingers are crossed that I can get some chicks from this bunch for my own little fun side project. It would be nice to have a few meaties that are fun to look at and are easier to pluck by hand. I’ll post pics if there is any success.

How meaty is a Heritage Naked Neck? How long does it take them to Develop? I am interested in using Naked Necks for my Meat Bird Experiments(Heritage breed X Meatbird experiments). Does anyone know a hatchery that has decent Naked Necks bred for meat qualities? I am already assuming the big hatcheries would not have the best Naked Necks for meat production.

and his unnamed brother in front. Jan 1st was our first batch using these 2 Nn roos and some black australorp hens(as well as s few others). So far they look to be growing well.... next I plan to put the Delaware hens with them and see where that takes me.

Dunlap hatchery sells turken standard broiler chicks.
I believe someone on the forum ordered them a while back and from the few pictures I saw, they looked pretty nice. I called Dunlap last year but they didn’t have them at that time. It’s nice to see they are advertising for them again. Anyhow, I’ll probably add some of those at a later date, if I split an order or something.
