Broken at joint?

I have a six month old black star who looks like she has broken her leg at the joint. I think this injury is at least a few days old. It is definately swollen and she is limping badly. Is it too late to splint it?

I would try to keep her in a place where she cant move a lot before you figure out what to do.. Sorry I couldnt be much more help. Just commenting because no one else has

I have this same problem with my 18wk old mallard.I have her confind to a cat carrier.Going to try to spllnt it in morning so DH will be home to help.Good luck with your chicken!
