Broken dry Pekin laying duck feathers

I have a two year old happy laying Pekin, she is my only duck that has feathers with this broken dry appearance. Is there anything I can change for her feather health to improve. She has access to fresh water daily, free roaming as well.

That’s just feathers getting old and worn out, there’s not much you can do about that.
Has she molted yet? If not she may molt soon and she’ll lose those feathers and grow new ones in.

Ah, well hopefully she’ll molt soon!

I have 4 ducks that molted in the summer, but kept there very tatty flight feathers. They have, all 4, just lost the tatty feathers and grown in beautiful new flight feathers. Their wings were heavy and held down for nearly 2 weeks, but they are no all beautiful and back to normal. Mine had tatty flight feathers for months before they molted in the summer and even longer before they molted and regrew flight feathers.

By the end of summer or the start of fall, all of mine look like they've been put through the wringer! What with the tattered feathers and the sun bleaching, it's always nice to see the new ones grow in.
