I now have a re-occurring issue with one of my hens eggs and another of my hens brooding.
for a while i was getting 6 eggs a day with my six hens now my one americana isn't laying anymore and is always sitting on the other hens layed eggs. when i walk up to her she fluffs her feathers and starts squawking. I assume this hen is brooding. i do not have a rooster. how do i get her out of this stage.
Also lately for the last week i have gotten an egg with a whole in it. i thought it might have just gotten knocked around but now its happening everyday and is aggravating. is this hen just laying bad eggs or is someone breaking them?
